About Us

Helen Reynolds

Helen Reynolds is a Family Therapist, Aikido Instructor, and the producer of the Fort Lauderdale Story Slam. Helen has over 20 years experience as an educator and theater artist, and she is currently pursuing a doctorate in Family Therapy.

Helen is originally from England which explains why she talks funny. She became seriously addicted to storytelling podcasts in her youth, but she is too lazy to drive to Miami regularly for the Moth so she decided to start her own show in Fort Lauderdale with co-host Jean Minuchin. She brought her own unique style to the event, adding interactive games and general silliness throughout the evening.
